Hello everyone! I've been a little absent from the blogging world as of late, other than a few simple and quick recipes I've posted. I'm not here to apologize like a lot of bloggers do about not commenting on every single one of your posts because it's literally killing me to read some of them.
I think I had somewhat mentioned that I'm doing a little diet. I plan on doing said diet until the beginning of October, although I wont get into details. Basically, I'm eating very clean and in a smaller amount than I usually eat. I've restricted my diet to fresh and healthy foods that fuel my body and fill me with nutrients. Although I'm doing great (down 10 lbs!) I've had to cut out the things I love:
- Processed foods of any kind with the exception of Melba toast here and there
- Fatty cuts of meat
- Carbohydrates that don't come naturally from the fruit and vegetables I'm allowed
Ohhhhh the list goes on and on. It's quite restrictive, and I don't know how I haven't managed to break down and eat an entire bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos with lime. I love all of your blogs, but even the ones that aren't about food tend to contain lovely pictures of where you went to dinner or what you decided to bake for a treat. It makes my stomach growl uncontrollably, and it tests my willpower. For now I've decided it's in my own best interests to stay away from reading quite as many of my favorite blogs. I still plan on posting delicious healthy recipes when I come up with them, but it's been a lot of salad and grilled lean meats lately.
